Vegetarian Pizza Recipe

Colorful, flavorful, and loaded with fresh veggies – perfect for a light and delicious meal!

🧾 Ingredients (Makes 2 medium pizzas)

🔸 For the Dough:
2½ cups all-purpose flour (300g)
1 tsp instant yeast
1 tsp sugar
¾ cup warm water (180ml)
2 tbsp olive oil
¾ tsp salt

🔸 For the Sauce:
½ cup tomato sauce
1 tsp olive oil
½ tsp dried oregano
Pinch of salt

🔸 Vegetable Toppings:
½ small red bell pepper – sliced
½ small green bell pepper – sliced
¼ red onion – sliced
¼ cup mushrooms – sliced
¼ cup black olives – sliced
½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Optional: sweet corn, spinach, cherry tomatoes

⏱️ Instructions

1. Mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Leave 10 minutes until bubbly.
2. Add olive oil, then flour gradually. Add salt and knead 8–10 minutes.
3. Cover and let rise 1 hour.
4. Heat olive oil, add tomato sauce, oregano, and salt. Simmer 4–5 minutes.
5. Slice vegetables thinly and prepare toppings.
6. Divide dough into 2 and roll into round bases.
7. Spread sauce, add cheese, then vegetables. Don’t overload.
8. Bake at 230–250°C (450°F) for 10–12 minutes until golden.

🍽️ Serving Tips:

Serve hot. Add fresh greens like spinach after baking for freshness.
