
Pepperoni Pizza Recipe

Classic, crispy, cheesy — and super easy to make at home!
✅ Ingredients (Makes 2 medium pizzas)
🔸 For the Dough:
• 2½ cups all-purpose flour (300g)
• 1 tsp instant yeast
• 1 tsp sugar
• ¾ cup warm water (180ml)
• 2 tbsp olive oil
• ¾ tsp salt
🔸 For the Sauce:
• ½ cup tomato sauce
• 1 tsp olive oil
• ½ tsp dried oregano
• Optional: 1 garlic clove (minced)
🔸 For the Topping:
• ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
• 20–25 slices of pepperoni (turkey or beef)
• Optional: pinch of chili flakes
⏱️ Step-by-Step Instructions
🔹 1. Make the Dough:
1. In a mixing bowl, add warm water, sugar, and yeast.
➜ Let it sit for 10 minutes until frothy.
2. Add olive oil, then gradually mix in the flour.
3. Add salt and knead well for 8–10 mins by hand or 5 mins with mixer.
4. Cover and let it rise for 1 hour in a warm place until doubled.
🔹 2. Make the Sauce:
1. In a small pan, heat olive oil.
2. Add garlic (if using), stir for 30 seconds.
3. Add tomato sauce + oregano.
➜ Let simmer for 4–5 minutes, then set aside.
🔹 3. Roll the Dough:
1. Divide the dough in two after it rises.
2. Roll each half into a circle around ½ cm thick.
3. Place on pizza peel or tray with parchment paper.
🔹 4. Assemble the Pizza:
1. Spread 2–3 tbsp of sauce over each base.
2. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella evenly.
3. Arrange pepperoni slices all over the top.
4. (Optional) Sprinkle chili flakes if you like it spicy 🌶️
🔹 5. Bake the Pizza:
• Preheat oven to 450°F (230–250°C) for at least 15 minutes.
• Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until cheese is bubbling and crust is golden.
✅ Tips for the Best Pepperoni Pizza:
• For extra crisp pepperoni: place slices on top of cheese.
• Want it cheesy? Add a mix of mozzarella + cheddar.
• Serve hot with a dipping sauce or garlic mayo.
