Four-Cheese Pizza Recipe (Beginner Friendly)

✅ Ingredients (Makes 2 medium pizzas)

🔸 For the Dough:
 • 2½ cups all-purpose flour (about 300g)
 • 1 tsp instant dry yeast
 • 1 tsp sugar
 • ¾ cup warm water (180ml)
 • 2 tbsp olive oil
 • ¾ tsp salt

🔸 For the Sauce:
 • ½ cup tomato sauce (store-bought or homemade)
 • 1 tsp olive oil
 • A pinch of dried oregano (optional)

🔸 For the Cheese Topping:
 • ½ cup shredded mozzarella
 • ¼ cup shredded cheddar
 • ¼ cup grated parmesan
 • 2 tbsp blue cheese or soft cream cheese

⏱️ Step-by-Step Instructions

🔹 1. Prepare the Dough:
 1. In a large bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast.
➜ Let it sit for 10 minutes until bubbly — this activates the yeast.
 2. Add the olive oil, then gradually add the flour. Mix to form a dough.
 3. Add the salt and knead for 8–10 minutes by hand, or 5 minutes with a mixer.
 4. Cover the bowl with a towel or plastic wrap.
➜ Let it rise for 1 hour in a warm place until doubled in size.

🔹 2. Make the Sauce:
 • Heat 1 tsp olive oil in a small pan.
 • Add tomato sauce + oregano, let it simmer for 3–4 minutes.
➜ Set aside to cool slightly.

🔹 3. Roll the Dough:
 1. After the dough rises, divide it into two equal parts.
 2. Lightly flour your surface and roll each ball into a circle — about ½ cm thick.
 3. Place on a pizza peel (or baking tray with parchment paper).

🔹 4. Assemble the Pizza:
 1. Spread 2 tablespoons of sauce over the dough.
 2. Add cheese in layers:
 • Mozzarella first (it melts and binds everything)
 • Then cheddar
 • Sprinkle parmesan
 • Finish with small bits of blue cheese or cream cheese

🔹 5. Bake the Pizza:
 • Preheat your oven to 450°F (230–250°C) for at least 15 minutes.
 • If using a pizza stone: place the pizza directly on it.
 • If using a tray: preheat the tray, then slide the pizza on.

➜ Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.

✅ Tips for Best Results:
 • For a crispier crust, roll the dough thinner.
 • Add fresh basil or a drizzle of olive oil after baking.
 • Don’t overload with sauce or cheese — it can make the base soggy.
